I've tried twice to use "new post" to get this posted, and the post just does
not seem to appear. This is an attempt at sending email to the Google
Translate group, to see if that might work.

Problem: Translations of Web pages do not refresh when the original page
changes.

There is a serious problem with Google translations that make them unusable
unless the base page never, ever changes. The translation refuses to update
when the base page changes.

How many Web pages are there out there that never change? Think of common
pages, like Yahoo, for example. Would you really want to see the same Yahoo
main page day after day?

I really do not understand what is going on, because sometimes the translation
does update right away, but at other times, it continues with the old base page
for days.

Could Google PLEASE get this fixed? This certainly does not happen with Babel
Fish, for example, for which a "refresh" always brings up a translation of the
latest base page, even if the modification was a few seconds before.
