Specifically - there is a gallery of data sources and tools, at
http://code.google.com/apis/visualization/documentation/toolsgallery.html

One interesting tool is the Ajax APIs Playground, that can be found at
http://code.google.com/apis/ajax/playground/?type=visualization
This is an interactive web application including sample code for the
Visualization API.
With this tool developers can quickly create their own versions of
visualizations based on sample code, and quickly run and test them online.
