I am not sure I understand.
If you can send an code snippet or an example, or some  details, it will
help.
Please note:
There might be a confusion because the dates you can see between the upper
adn lower part of the charts, refer to the upper side. This might be
confusing when you use the scroll bar, as you might think they refer to the
scroll bar itself.
