I did a little more testing and this is happening only on my Firefox installation (3.0.7). The above code works for IE, Chrome, Opera and Safari. It seems like a lot less of a problem - but it is still a bit of a game breaker given the amount of users of Firefox at my place of work.
It must have something to do with Flash on Firefox - but if anyone had any suggestions on how to potentially fix the problem (or even to determine what is causing it) I'd greatly appreciate it.
