VizBoy, I'm coming in late to this thread after working with the AnnotatedTimeLine, but I too, am wishing there were a smoother way to update the data in the ATL. Right now, it's OK, as it's a visual clue that something is being done, but I'm updating it every 10 sec, and that's a lot of flashing.
Anything you can do would be very much appreciated.
