I noticed this strange behavior with the annotated timeline. When the data density increases above a certain level the dates disappear completely underneath the graph. I know there is a lot of logic that determines how many dates to show depending on how big the graph is and how many dates are currently visible, but when the density gets above a certain level it displays nothing. I think this is about 1 date per 2 pixels.
For example, create a data source with 1000 points. (For example, rainfall over the last 3 years). If you plot this on a graph that is 2000 pixels wide you don't get any date indicators. You have to zoom in for this to happen. I think, with 2000 pixels, there should be enough room to show something. Does anyone have a fix or workaround? (Besides multiple data sources, which is a very involved fix for a seemingly small problem) I have confirmed this with 250 data points and a graph that is 500 pixels wide. Again, I feel this is large enough to display some date indicators under the graph. In general, I feel that the annotated timeline should show more dates underneath the graph under certain high data conditions. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Visualization API" group.
