New strange stuff
I've followed Chris suggestions and i ended up with this...

www.ingcivil.uchile.cl/shm/sandpit/atltest.html
(rewrote the code)

basically it does this:

var r1, r2, r3

google.visualization.events.addListener(chart3,'ready', function(){
    google.visualization.events.addListener
(chart1,'rangechange',function(){
       r1 = chart1.getVisibleChartRange();
       chart2.setVisibleChartRange(r.start,r.end);
       chart3.setVisibleChartRange(r.start,r.end);
       r2 = chart2.getVisibleChartRange();
       r3 = chart3.getVisibleChartRange();
      // Print r1,r2,r3 start() and end() in HTML

   });
});

any idea was is happing?

Thanks
tomas
