Hi and thanks for the reply.

Typically I am looking over a time period of 1 year, and need a
maximum resoluton of data every 15 minutes. This is 35,000 data
points if I load all the data in one go, and that takes time for my
data source to supply the data, and even longer for the visualisation
scripts to process that data (locking the browser and giving numerous
warnings to stop slow running scripts).

I was therefore plannig to load the initial data at weekly resolution
and asyncronously fetch more into my datatable when a zoom events
fire.

This is complicated and I was hoping for a lazy solution - i.e. you
clever guys at google provide the methods to do this!!

However, I can do it myself if I need to but I can't re-draw the ATL
smoothly (even using the allowRedraw:true option - which doesn't seem
to do much). I always end-up with a complete redraw which gives a big
'clunk' in the user experience.

Any tips/help/guidance would be much appreciated. Even if there are
no solutions at this time, I still think the ATL provides the best
functionality there is out there - thanks Google.

Colin
