Try merging the two load calls like this:
google.load('visualization', '1', {packages:['columnchart', 'piechart']});
also remove the xml2json script to see if it is causing the problem.
The google namespace is defined in www.google.com/jsapi script.
If this loads to your page 'google' will be defined.
