I've seen posts in Google Groups going back to 2007 about the
visualization loading from http://chart.apis.google.com/ despite the
page it's contained in being delivered over https and the library
being referenced as https://www.google.com/jsapi.  And this leading to
warnings in some browsers about some content not being secured.

There's been hacks and workarounds posted (which I don't want), and
others apparently from Google saying that the libraries are being
fixed to work over SSL (in 2009 and as recent as last month).  What's
the final word on this?  Is this being fixed?  Are we SOL for SSL?

ps, I'm using image bar charts and gauges.
