I guess it depends on what you mean by "highlight the graphs." If you store enough information in the tag, or can otherwise identify what you want to highlight by looking at the contents of the tag (or its associated data table contents), you can set up interactions between the charts, which could include some kind of highlighting. So, yes, it should be possible to do something similar to (if not exactly like) what you have in mind.
