You could do this without much trouble by toggling the is3D option and then calling the draw method. Here's a quick example:
http://jsfiddle.net/Ubymr/ The trick is to use the ChartWrapper class to make it easier to manipulate the chart after you've created it. You might be able to connect the action to clicking on the chart itself if you'd like. BTW, note that it's is3D with a capital D.
