The new release introduces many new features, including: - Transition animation<http://code.google.com/apis/chart/interactive/docs/animation.html> . - New visual effects for focus and selection of chart elements in scatter, line, area, and other charts. - New column role feature<http://code.google.com/apis/chart/interactive/docs/roles.html>, enabling annotations, error bars and many other features in the core chart types. - Marker mode in Geochart<http://code.google.com/apis/chart/interactive/docs/gallery/geochart.html> . - New chart: Stepped Area<http://code.google.com/apis/chart/interactive/docs/gallery/steppedareachart.html> . - New UI for ChartEditor, currently available only in version 1.1. In the next release it will be available in all of the versions.
