IE, and specifically IE <=8, has weird text behavior. Probably something to
do with how IE interacts with the OS (using its text API). We got several
reports about IE text issues, but there's really nothing we can do about
it. My guess is that if you'll try it on a different machine, there are
good chances it'll work. Sorry for not being more helpful.
