Yes, it would make perfect sense to have these in the tooltip. The first
option I considered was to put a button inside it, which is not possible.

I agree with you that expanding the tooltip is a better idea, the only
reason I choose the context menu was that i couldn't modify the tooltip.

Actually, in the current version of the application, we are replacing the
tooltip for one simple click, and showing a dialog when the user must
provide more info.
