Nathan,
The message you're receiving indicates that there's a problem with loading
the map information.
Unlike the chart library, the maps are served from www.gstatic.com.
The only idea I have is that somehow your browser or network keeps a white
list of legitimate addresses, which does not include www.gstatic.com.
