I was excited about this and had a chance to test it late last night. It looks like it has been fixed! I'm going to run more tests on my production apps, but so far looks good. This will save a lot of extra function calls to convert the dates appropriately.
Can you elaborate on why a cross-site request would have had problems with date objects, and how it was fixed? Even a link would help if this is a problem that can happen with other tools/products.
