I'd like to be able to help you, but I've looked at the issue before and haven't been able to come up with a satisfactory hack around the problem. One of the means I've come up with includes changing the tooltips' contents to show the section's value and the sum of the values of all sections below it. If that works for you, you can use the custom tooltip column role or set the formatted value of the data points to the appropriate values to make it happen.
