There is a GWT library for using the charts ( http://code.google.com/p/gwt-google-apis/wiki/VisualizationGettingStarted?tm=6) if you use java server-side. I'm not familiar with Life Ray, but since the Visualization API is entirely client-side, they should, in theory, be compatible (presuming Life Ray doesn't use funky javascript that screws up the API). It is worth noting that drag-n-drop features of CMS systems like Life Ray have proven problematic in the past.
