Using a StringFilterControl bound to a Table visualization (with paging enabled) in a Dashboard should work just fine. Add the options: page: 'enable', pageSize: 4 to the table in the playground example<https://code.google.com/apis/ajax/playground/?type=visualization#stringfilter_control>to see it work.
