You can make charts that have almost the exact same functionality as the 
ATL charts, using LineCharts, annotation column roles, and 
ChartRangeFilters.  You can manually duplicate the zoom buttons with HTML 
and click event handlers.  I don't have time to do up a demo right now, but 
I might be able to later today.
