Hi Carlos, Thanks for the feedback! GeoChart is not my field of expertise, and there is a good chance the guys working on it won't be in the office before Thursday. Once back, they will be able to tell you all about the border colors.
About the transparent background - what error does it throw? Have you tried specifying 'none' instead of 'transparent'?
