The gridlines.count parameter is broken when used in conjunction with 
Date-based axes.  There is a bug report on this issue 
here<http://code.google.com/p/google-visualization-api-issues/issues/detail?id=908>
 (click 
the star in the upper left corner to be notified of any developments with 
the issue).
