I didn't really change the height of the annotations, I changed the height
of the series they are assigned to:
view.setColumns([0, 1, {
type: 'number',
calc: function (dt, row) {
// here is where I am adjusting the height
// set the "10" to whatever value works best for your chart
return dt.getValue(row, 1) - 10;
}
}, 2]);
