Depending on your specific needs, you could also create a regular BarChart from the "corechart" package, and use the image conversion script found here<https://groups.google.com/d/msg/google-visualization-api/YTD_JxX_RFc/yt7e6JIGwu0J>, which will save a png image file of the chart.
