They way to do this is to create something that selects a node (it can be a 
filter like the CategoryFilter, or it can be some custom HTML, whatever 
works for you).  Using the value provided by the node selector, you need to 
identify the child nodes of that element (and the child nodes' child nodes, 
and so on down the chart), and create a view of the data that restricts the 
rows to only the relevant nodes.  I wrote an example jsfiddle you can use
