I have a scatter chart with slow loading HTML tooltip (it is in effect a scaled down web page with interactivity, it loads in ~.5 seconds). The tooltip consists of a DIV and an IFrame linking to a specialized page that make up a tooltip.
(I replaced it with google.com here): <div class='googleToolTipDiv'><a class='close' href='#' onclick='chart.setSelection()'>x</a><iframe class='googleToolTipIframe' src='http://google.com'></iframe></div> The chart has some 1-100 points and the trigger is set to 'select'. Problem: *When a tooltip is loaded, when the mousecurser leaves the tooltip area or hovers a point in the scatter chart, the tooltip refreshes. If you move the curser around the chart "touching" points, you will reloads the tooltip page each time. * I see no reason for this to happen. I have tried removing all onmouseover/onmouseout handlers, but it seems like the default ones are persistent. I have also tried overwriting the handlers, but same effect. Is there anyway I can stop the refresh from happening? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Visualization API" group.
