This is a known bug, and I believe the dev team is working on a solution for the replacement to the AnnotatedTimeline chart, the AnnotationChart<https://developers.google.com/chart/interactive/docs/gallery/annotationchart>. The ATL chart will not receive any updates or bug fixes, so I strongly suggest switching to the new AnnotationChart.
