Hi all, I'm not a developer - just trying to do a few free things for our school to help out so any assistance is greatly appreciated.
I'm trying to figure out how to get a value from a Google Spreadsheet (cell reference F2) to populate a variable in some HTML that I can then use to display something on a website (in Weebly). Basically I want to be able to have people update the value in the spreadsheet and therefore update the website (without needing to edit the website). Then I can just share the spreadsheet with relevant people. (Note: I'm using a spreadsheet as there is also a Chart being generated... the Chart is working fine). I've managed to share the link to the cell reference and can display the value in a browser by using that link - but I just can't seem to get that value to populate a value in my code. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/16HsbYp-W-keFce7CvPBVPPdxSFR_eSoQ5-P4Y791xjk/pubhtml?gid=0&single=true&range=F2 I assume it's pretty easy, if you know what you're doing.... which I don't :-) Note: I did also post a more detailed question here: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!starred/google-visualization-api/Zwp4icWxb9c But I think it was a bit wordy and all I really need is the above.
