This thread was about the motion chart, and since it is written in flash, we are no longer maintaining it and don't expect to update it, though you can keep using it. Given the age of the previous messages, I don't know if anything there is relevant to your current problem, though it may well be.
If anyone else knows how to help you with zooming in the motion chart, it would be great if they could respond here. By the way, our plan is to reimplement the motion chart without using flash. We have some early prototypes of this effort, but we haven't had time to pursue it.
