I am having a similar problem, but the Data Tables load correctely if I make a second call to the API. I mean, the first time I press the button in my page (it's an ajax call) the parent div generated by the API has a style property of "width: 0px;" (img1). The second time the button is pressed, the height and width properties update their values (img2). I tried changing the package to 1.0 but it didn't work.
