I absolutely love the new material charts! However, one extremely important feature to me - the ability to get a tooltip no matter where your mouse is hovering on the chart - is missing. For example, the stock ticker chart displayed from Google search results has this functionality: https://encrypted.google.com/search?q=Alphabet+stock+ticker
focusTarget: 'category' Setting focusTarget to 'category' in the past with classic charts is all you would need to accomplish this. I am requesting this functionality in material charts as well. If you need engineers to help with this, I'm glad to lend a hand. Thank you for making the best charts out there. Great work! Here is an example of my material line chart: https://jsfiddle.net/jaggedsoftware/tr5dsgwL/ Here is an example of a classic chart set to theme:'material' & focusTarget working correctly: https://jsfiddle.net/jaggedsoftware/oek6qLm9/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Visualization API" group.
