Hi Allen, Sadly, this is not simple to resolve. This issue stems from the fact that Material Charts were built from scratch, rather than on top of the existing charts, and are therefore missing numerous features. We have a tracking bug for this, which you can find here: https://github.com/google/google-visualization-issues/issues/2143
