I see the difference between Chrome and Firefox. Looking in the debugger, the text elements are identical for both, so there is nothing we are doing different in Google Charts for these two browsers. But for Chrome, the same text gets reversed with the letter spacing. I strongly suspect this is a general issue for Chrome, and will affect any similar SVG. I don't know enough about this to say it is a bug, but it would seem so.
