Hi Thomas, I don't see any obvious problem in your code, or in the suggested arrangement in the first answer.
It would help to find out how far along in the code it got. Do some console.info() calls and figure out where it gets stuck. If you could set this up in a jsfiddle, other people could run it to find out if it fails for them in firefox also. I might even be able to investigate further.
