I also tried *<a href"#" onclick="info()"> click test </a>* but not work. and tried *chart.setAction(){}* function also, but still not working on timeline. above two ways working well on Piechart but not on Timeline, it that the timeline limitation? I'm using https://developers.google.com/chart/interactive/docs/gallery/timeline this timeline.
