Hi Colleen,

You'll probably have to ask your questions in a forum specific to Google
Sheets, unless someone from that group is watching here.  The newer
versions of Google Sheets have diverged from Google Charts by implementing
their own charts, which are probably still catching up with what Google
Charts offers directly.

One possibility I can suggest is to build your charts in a web page where
you fetch the data from your spreadsheet.  That way Google Charts would be
in charge and you can use all the features that Google Charts offers.  See
