The thread "Google Wave Inbox Notification tool for the Windows Desktop" ( https://groups.google.com/group/google-wave-api/browse_thread/thread/fa293616c0a2812f?hl=en ) is discussing an application by Oliver Baker which notifies about new waves (and I guess also updates to existing waves) in your wave inbox. It currently runs on windows, and some people are discussing a possible port to mac and linux.
Personally, what I would really like to see is an iGoogle gadget that does the same thing. I check my gmail and rss feeds and latest news headlines from iGoogle, so having the wave inbox updates in the same place would be fantastic. Has anyone else considered or perhaps even attempted to implement something like this? Could this be done with the embed API (at least until some more flexible API becomes available)? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Wave API" group.
