Hi,

I am a fairly novice javascript developer, I would appreciate if
anyone might have an idea what is going on with my gadget. I am
developing a gadget for editing math's equations.

It seems to work fine for me on Firefox (Mac, latest version) and
Safari but not Google Chrome (for Mac). In Chrome, things sometimes
work but sometimes don't. So, sometimes I load the Wave and my gadgets
render fine, but other times they don't. I'm not sure if the bug is
mine, Chrome's or Wave. I have got a few reports from other users
about unreliable rendering (I'm not sure which browsers yet) so it
would be really nice to figure out what's going on to give users a
better experience.

When I look at the Javascript console in Chrome when the gadget
doesn't render properly I see a lot of errors:
Uncaught TypeError: Illegal invocation
https://www-wave-opensocial.googleusercontent.com/gadgets/js/dynamic-height:wave:wave-preview.js?v=cebb5fc6e72728d08e1713f2cb3dac92&container=wave&debug=0:399

You can see the gadget source here:
http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~jjh/wavescience/trunk/files/head:/eqygadget/

or if you have the Wave preview you could see it in action (and tell
me if it works reliably for you)
https://wave.google.com/wave/#restored:wave:googlewave.com!w%252B4muyQgqQR

Is this a known fault with Wave on Chrome or anything? Or have I
screwed something up somehow - and why does it work better on other
browsers?

Any help appreciated.
Jonny
