Yeah, unfortunately the Robots API tutorial only implements OnRobotAdded as an "i'm alive" example, so when newbies add "hello world" via OnBlipSubmitted it doesn't work from there, and self-doubt ensues. I think the tutorial should at least include the BLIP_SUBMITTED event. (who want's a robot that says "hi" but doesn't respond to "hello, what's your name?")
Knowing the ID fix, i cleaned out my folder, updated (deployed nothing), disabled the application via dashboard (just for good measure) and redeployed my "working" version to the old app ID, and everything works now.
