I think there are a few robots in the samples gallery that do this. I'll add my usual caveat here that if you need a gadget to collect sensitive data, you probably also need to think about (a) authenticating the Wave events sent to the robot somehow (anyone can forge a Wave event to your robot to make your robot do things) and (b) authenticating the gadget to the user (if there are already many participants on the wave, one of them could see the addition of your authenticator gadget and replace that gadget with their own to steal your password).
