Are you doing this when you create the blip initially?  If so, these "TBD"
IDs are only temporary.  As you create new blips in your robot, you're
building a model locally.  The operations themselves aren't sent to the Wave
server until your event handler is finished executing, and it's only then do
the blips get proper IDs.  You have no way of seeing those IDs until after
the server has received those operations.
