Thanks for the feedback it's very helpful,

This is the latest update for the spreadsheet gadget:

I have just added
    * advanced functions ( just a few for the beginning)
    * columns  Resize
    * freezing pane ( still not draggable...)
    * auto resize of the grid when you add rows (automatically when
reaching the last row)
    * cell overflow when you type it adjust the width of the cell
    * easy to edit cell (keeps the arrows inside the input box rather
then navigating)
    * position of the active ell and an edit input to easily edit the
content of the cell

Soon i will add:

    * row Resize
    * ability to choose range with the mouse
    * More advanced functions
