I believe the answer is yes, though I am unsure of your exact question.

A wave can be composed of:
- text
- annotations (i.e. style annotations)
- elements (form elements, images, gadgets)

Those can be combined to create "rich content."

The robot API can also extract all of that information from the
incoming information.
