Hi, AFAIK this is not possible without leaving wave for a while. A robot responds to events. Maybe you can investigate the sharing of info between a robot and a gadget. AFN, this is beyond my knowledge.
An idea, when the robot is added to a wave, make it add a link the user has to click. It opens a web page and store informations based on the waveid.
