This thread (may be in the wrong forum) is for the discussion of using Google wave within an educational environment. After becoming aware of Google Wave and its current features I immediately saw massive potential to utilise this collaborative communication medium as part of a students day to day acitivities.
Pros- A teacher could issue out waves to seperate "tables" of students and then monitor those waves as the students construct their assignments. Education would not be limited to class rooms, countries or language. Cons- As always financial, although there is almost enough developed infrastructure to handle basic configurations of such a project.
