I Am Not A Google Employee, but here are some counter-questions and constructive criticisms for your questions.
1. What do you mean? How is it not user-friendly? (Note that I agree, but "more user-friendly" is much too vague to be useful.) 2. Google is working on making the browser into the operating system; once this is in place Wave will essentially be a desktop application - at least on Chrome OS. At that point maybe they can look into making Wave and the browser fit so well that Wave basically is the OS. I'm not sure what problem this suggestion was intended to solve, though... 3. "right clicks for selection and left clicks for options" How is that not what already happens? I select with the left button and view options with the right. 4. This is a good idea, and similar to what they did for Gmail. I imagine they've at least considered doing the same for Wave, but it might have requirements that basic HTML can't fulfill, or maybe the prototype didn't make significant gains and was abandoned. Or maybe they just haven't had time to build an alternative version of such a large application yet.
