I built a test suite for my robot (Resourcy) to capture problems like this.
Essentially it runs all of the actions needed by my robot at periodic
intervals set by a cron job.

Unfortunately, the App Engine times out after what I believe is an
undocumented number of seconds (I believe somewhere between 10 and 30),
which has never been enough for my tests to run.

I'd love to release this code somewhere so that we can get a better idea of
what is working when, esp. when folks start deploying robots across wave
servers.
