What about this?
public final class Canvas extends JavaScriptObject {
private static CanvasImpl impl = GWT.create(CanvasImpl.class);
public static Canvas create() {
return impl.create();
}

return impl.moveTo(this, x, y);
}
}
Then you just create several subclasses of CanvasImpl, for Canvas, Flash,
SVG, etc.
