Sorry for taking so long to get to this.

On my FC10 machine running Fedora's default Eclipse 3.4.1 install (build
20080911-1700), it is happy with the locationURI in the project file. What
version/build/etc of Eclipse 3.4.1 are you using that has a problem?

I am ok with changing it if it doesn't break anything else and improves
compatibility with particular Eclipse versions, but one thing I find
puzzling is that my Eclipse 3.4.1 keeps changing it back to locationURI --
ie, I delete the project from my eclipse workspace, edit .project, and then
when I import the project it changes it back to locationURI.
